I keep hoping for a board patient to magically come along, but it just doesn't. I had a class 2 patient. I used the scanx again to take his bwx. I really love the scanx for bwx, I just didn't like it for a full mouth. It is quick and the films are small and easy to fit in the mouth. My next patient was a class V and class 1B. He would have normally been easy, but he didn't speak english and I could not get him to hold his mouth open! And he would fight me with his lip on the mandibular anteriors!

I too am hoping for that magical day when a board patient comes along, but until then I'll just hold my breath. I love the scanx too, i think it's a combo of the digital and conventional with speed vs how easy it is to take the xrays.
