my brother came back today to finish scaling his UL and UR quads. he was a little late and had to leave early for work, so that only left me right around an hour to finish. his upper quads were a class 1B so i finished just in time. i polished and gave him some NaF varnish. I felt a little rushed having so little time, but got through it and everything done that needed to be done!

my patient had his wife come in in his place today. she was a class 1b on the upper and 2 on the lower. i did a pano to view two wisdom teeth she still has and needs removed. i had to do a re-take because the lead apron got in the way! i also took 4 bwx that turned out fine. i did an OD and by that time it was time to go, so she has to come back for her scaling. the paperwork is for sure stressful! i feel like i do something wrong every time, or a blue slip!

it was kind of nice and relaxing just having a lab today. we went over dentures, ultrasonics, diagnodent, ect. We dont have a pt again on monday also due to presidents day, so a good little break. hopefully i'm ready for clinic again by next wednesday, i have a class 2.

my brother was supposed to come in this morning and cancelled on me! that is 3 in row! Luckily i called someone from the recall list and he came right in. he was a class 2 and we got through the OD and started scaling one quad. he will come back in a couple weeks to finish.

my patient cancelled this morning.....again! I walked all over campus and asked everyone, but no luck. I don't have much to do today, hopefully i can still get all of my requirements!

today my patient called in to cancel at about 9am. I didn't find another patient on campus in time, so I just passed off my instrument sharpening PE. Hopefully this doesn't put me too far behind!
