today i passed off two more PE's. and we practiced exploring. I made Michelle bleed a few times. I was a little nervous, so I kept too tight of a grip on my explorer. For now i'm just concentrating on where to put my hands, so i haven't really tried to feel for calculus yet. next time...

today...not so bad. We practiced exploring on each other. A little scary. I kept making emily bleed. it feels awkward for sure.

we worked on intra oral exams today which was kind of interesting. I like the extra oral exam best its pretty fun. I passed off two PE's today: vital signs and health history. They were not to bad. Kind of a long day but it felt productive!

Today we actually practiced on each other. We practiced vital signs, extra oral exams, and fulcrums. It seems pretty easy until you actually have to get in there and do it yourself. I had a hard time figuring out where to put my fingers and how to hold the instruments. I guess i'll just need to keep practicing!

In head/neck anatomy we have to be able to identify all of the anterior teeth this week. Its 25% of our first exam so hopefully I can get them down! Today we did vital signs which was kind of fun. Its kind of hard to hear the systolic blood pressure, so it helped me to watch for the pin to jump. It wasn't too bad.

So this weekend I have just been trying to study a little for dental hygiene and head/neck anatomy. I feel like I should be starting to refresh on everything pretty soon for the exams at the end of this month! Hopefully I can get a couple PE's done today!

So far I have done pretty well on the quizes for anatomy and dental hygiene, but i'm kind of nervous for the exams at the end of this month. I didn't get any PE's done today, so I need to do a couple on monday. Hope I don't get behind!
