I'm really excited that our first semester is done.....3 more to go! I'm also looking foward to having a long christmas break and getting some stuff done that I never have time for! I feel like the semester went really well and i learned a lot. Hopefully i can apply everything next semester!

We did PSR today. Much quicker than probing the entire mouth. Everyone in clinic seems to have pretty healthy mouths, so it will be interesting to get some code 3 & 4's. I'm starting to get a little nervous for pt day. Its coming up so soon! I can't believe the semester is almost over....it seems like it flew by!

Sealants were fun today! Lis had two to be filled, so I filled one and left one for my PE. Things went pretty smoothly..... I passed of my flouride PE which was pretty easy:) Now its time to go..ya

I hated the air/water power polisher.... It was not fun having it done and not really doing it either. I passed off a couple PE's and i'm ready to go home!

Today was nice. We started off by sharpening our instruments which is going to be very helpful!
Hopefully I can keep in the habit of sharpening them regularly. We also did the ultrasonic scaler. It was pretty fun, and so much easier! I'm glad we got to start that this semester. Its great!

Radiology did not go so well today but hygiene clinic was much better. I thought polishing was kind of fun! The flouride tastes pretty nasty, but its probably good to see how the pt feels. I missed monday so I didn't get to practice my anterior scaling again, hopefully I can catch up....

We ended up having a lot of time today to practice our posterior scaling and pass off four PE's. It feels good to get a little ahead on PE's, so I don't feel so stressed that I have to get them done on a specific day! Sclaing is not so bad, just indirect vision is still where I struggle....
